The RSP Master course in Industrial Design is a highly qualified in depth study Program which aims at training professionals that will be able to define, both conceptually and operationally, a high added value project of industrial design…
The European Institute of Design in Turin, has designed its RSP Master’s Degree in Industrial Design for Sport – Extreme Design to train project developers specialising in interpreting the needs of sportspeople and translating them into products.
The Master’s will be divided into 3 workshop series of 6 weeks each, which will start with experimental and creative exploration and develop into tangible plans able to be made into real products.
The course will conclude with the development of a thesis upon a real customer’s request. The three initial projects will introduce students to the meaning of “extreme”, the needs of the athletes and the equipment which strengthens and assists the athletes in their sporting performance. The final thesis will be the result of the academic process, using all the skills acquired during the course to design and plan a single object. In the previous editions we have collaborated with: Ferrino; Grivel; Vibram; La Sportiva; Ninerbikes; Exploring Group; Fiat Free Style; Loose.
